Job summary

Prolific is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join our security‑minded engineering team. You’ll work hands‑on with product and platform teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in our codebase, perform security testing, and build tooling to automate security across our CI/CD pipeline.

You’ll report to the Head of Engineering/Platform and collaborate cross‑functionally with product engineering, platform, data, and TechOps to strengthen Prolific’s security posture as we

Qualifications

• Several years in application security and a software engineering background.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 (Web & API) and modern attack paths.
• Hands-on security testing experience across web apps and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Secure Prolific’s applications end-to-end, including hands-on testing and code review.
• Perform threat modelling and build/maintain security tooling.
• Embed secure development practices across the SDLC and automate where possible.
