Lucentive is seeking a Senior AI Systems Engineer to own the AI operating layer that powers multiple engagements. You will design the orchestration of tools, memory, and retrieval into a coherent runtime and craft provider abstractions that survive migrations, while guiding validators into contracts across teams.

• Senior experience building agentic systems in production.
• Hands-on model orchestration across multiple model providers with migration strategy.
• Eval suites that catch regressions before shipping.
• Own infrastructure used by multiple products/teams.
• Production discipline with typed engineering stack.

Responsibilities

• Own the orchestration layer for tools, memory, retrieval, and multi-step reasoning.
• Build the model-provider abstraction used across Lucentive's products.
• Own the eval suite for truth sets, regression coverage, and drift detection.
• Set the pattern engineers implement per engagement and determine when to share it.
• Keep architecting coherent as it scales into one operating layer.
• Maintain production observability for agent runs across products.
