Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to design and build full-stack applications that turn operational data into AI-driven decision tools for supply chain and operations. This senior IC role shapes AI app strategy, builds front-end and back-end services, and embeds AI in production products to help drive business outcomes.

You will partner with BI developers and platform architects, mentor junior engineers, and lead projects of increasing complexity while ensuring quality,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience building and shipping full-stack applications to production.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications and services across the full software lifecycle.
Build responsive front ends and back-end services deployed to the cloud.
Embed AI features into production products and create AI-powered decision tools.
Mentor and coach junior engineers and BI developers.
Lead application projects of moderate to high complexity and influence technical direction.
