Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to drive enterprise-scale AI platforms and transform ambiguous AI concepts into deliverable products. You will oversee core AI models and infrastructure used by downstream product teams for features that improve customer outcomes.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, leadership at the principal level, and a strong focus on AI performance metrics, developer practices, and organizational dashboards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program management experience in AI/ML
• Deep understanding of AI/ML, MLOps, data platforms; CV/voice background a plus
• Engage with engineering teams; provide guidance
• Define metrics frameworks (KPIs, OKRs) to measure platform success
• Strong analytical skills with AI performance metrics and real-time video processing
• Leadership at a Principal level; influence senior leaders and communicate clearly
• Excellent written and verbal communication; present roadmaps and business cases
• Customer-focused with track record of addressing customer needs
• Domain knowledge in public safety or security software is a plus
• Ability to bring highly ambiguous concepts to defined programs and discovery

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, definition, and execution of programs across core AI areas.
• Drive end-to-end AI feature delivery across central AI org and product teams.
• Define and implement AI impact baselines linking model performance to customer outcomes.
• Drive initiatives to integrate AI/ML into internal software development lifecycle; evangelize best practices.
• Design and maintain executive-facing dashboards tracking AI impact and development metrics.
• Communicate progress to stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional alignment.
• Initiate emergent strategic initiatives from ambiguity through discovery and prioritization.
