Job summary

Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join Grafana AI/ML on a remote basis in the USA. You’ll build production-grade AI features for observability data, experiment rapidly, and collaborate cross-functionally to ship scalable solutions.

You’ll work with LLMs, prompt engineering, and GenAI in cloud-native environments, delivering impact while aligning with real user workflows and security guidelines. This role offers strong autonomy and opportunities to shape AI strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and building GenAI-powered apps.
• Proven track record delivering software in production.
• Exposure to cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience using observability tooling to troubleshoot systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver AI features to detect, triage, and resolve incidents from observability data.
• Prototype and test quickly, shipping agent-powered workflows for incident management.
• Collaborate with data analysts, product managers, and designers to shape AI-driven features.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance product functionality and development workflows.
• Communicate effectively across teams in a dynamic environment.
• Own AI solutions from conception through scalable deployment.
