Job summary

WINTrio LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Developer / AI Engineer to design, develop, and operationalize AI/ML solutions for a long-term Federal Government program. The role spans generative AI, RAG, chatbots, document processing, anomaly detection, and automation, with full lifecycle responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will work across data processing, model development, deployment, and observability, using Python, R, or JavaScript, and IaC tools like Terraform, plus CI/CD and Git

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/AI/ML or related field.
• 5–10 years of AI/ML or software engineering experience.
• Hands-on ML model design and development.
• Strong knowledge of ML principles and AI technologies.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production.
• Experience analyzing large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python, R, JavaScript.
• Experience with Terraform or IaC.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Git-based version control experience.
• Observability tools integration into AI/ML projects.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, evaluate, and optimize ML models and AI solutions.
• Analyze large datasets, perform feature engineering, derive insights.
• Tune and improve model performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Software Engineers to productionize models.
• Build and support AI such as predictive models, RAG apps, chatbots.
• Develop AI/ML workflows using Python, R, or JS, with Terraform, CI/CD, and Git.
• Integrate observability, logging, and performance monitoring.
• Document models, experiments, configurations, and deployment procedures.
