Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking multiple Senior AI Engineers / Lead Engineers for an upcoming enterprise engagement focused on building AI agent platforms. Location is remote in Europe, with a contract of 3+ months.

Strong hands-on software engineering, cloud delivery, and experience with agent runtimes and orchestration frameworks are required. Desirable experience includes regulated industries and legacy system integration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering and cloud delivery experience.
• Experience building agentic platforms, agent runtimes, agent harnesses or orchestration frameworks from the ground up.
• Strong cloud engineering skills, including IaC, CI/CD and production deployment.
• Experience working within complex enterprise environments, following architecture standards, security controls and governance.
• For Lead roles, the ability to engage with senior architects and engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior architects and engineering leadership to define architecture and delivery.
• Develop and integrate agent platforms, runtimes and orchestration components.
• Ensure secure, scalable deployment and adherence to governance in enterprise environments.
