UNFI is seeking an experienced accounting leader to manage month-end close and financial reporting. You will drive process improvements, partner with FP&A, and oversee audits while guiding a high-performing team.

The role is remote within the United States, requiring strong communication with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and robust controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a finance related discipline (Accounting, Finance).
• 5+ years of progressive work experience in accounting/finance with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and financial reporting accuracy.
• Drive process improvements in Accounting Operations to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with FP&A and business partners to deliver analytical insights.
• Lead audits and ensure internal controls and compliance.
• Develop leaders and optimize team structure for productivity.
