Qualifications

• This role requires 4+ years in accounting, bookkeeping, or related finance roles.
• Experience with day-to-day accounting operations including AP, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Experience with GL management, transaction coding, and accurate records.
• Proficient in month-end close, financial statements, and management reports.
• Experience with vendor invoices, payments, ACH transfers, and expenses.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Xero or similar platforms.
• Payroll support experience and familiarity with payroll systems (Gusto a plus).
• Experience collaborating with external CPAs or tax professionals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries.
• Record transactions per chart of accounts and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate vendor invoices, payments, and ACH transfers.
• Process payroll and review employee expense reports.
• Support tax filings and liaise with external accountants.
