Job summary

AAA The Auto Club Group in the United States is seeking a Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst to prepare in-depth financial analyses, support timely management decisions, and develop complex financial models for business initiatives. You will collaborate with departments to understand financial consequences of actions and assist auditors with schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, plus experience in financial reporting, high-risk GL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Experience preparing and developing financial reports and analyses.
• Proficiency with MS Office and automated accounting/reporting systems.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and derive actionable conclusions.
• Experience with high-risk general ledger reconciliations and bank analysis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare in-depth financial analyses and research to support timely management decisions.
• Develop and manipulate complex financial models for business initiatives.
• Support accounting activities including journal entries and reconciliations of high-risk accounts.
• Assist auditors by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
• Represent finance on corporate teams and initiatives.
