Description

Summary:

The Senior Account Manager - NDG serves as the primary contact for assigned customers and carries out major assignments focused on client satisfaction, client retention as well as conducting and supporting the account management functions for the business.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports sub-account opening, account management, and other customer initiatives
  • Ensures critical steps are completed by other areas of the bank where required
  • Works with NDG Sales and colleagues in additional Huntington departments to enhance customer experience and deal team execution
  • Assists in gathering and reviewing appropriate documents, CIP data, and beneficial Ownership
  • Responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing, and resolving complex problems
  • Supports clearing exceptions related to KYC as appropriate
  • Performs day-to-day leadership for less experienced team members as well as serving the most complex customers, including those with the highest volume of accounts.
  • Serves as back-up to senior manager and participates in management team
  • Provides outstanding customer service with unwavering professionalism to high-value clients.
  • Ability to make decisions, resolve problems, and prioritize daily work
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of customer needs, internal procedures and controls, policies and compliance, necessary to stay current and forward thinking for efficient and effective quality of service, productivity, and risk management
  • Assists or has responsibilities for procedure writing and development of process improvements, technology, and internal controls.
  • Responsible for proactive identification of potential risks and adverse situations that may impact the bank’s interest.
  • Communicates and/or escalates risks, pursues corrective action and drives solutions, always with the goal of enhancing the customer experience.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with business partners, customers, and third parties; participates in customer calls and events as required.
  • Monitors, analyzes, and reports on team performance and productivity
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years sales experience in Banking industry
  • 5 or more years working with commercial customers, entity types and deposits
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of commercial customers, entity types, and deposits
  • Compliance, and related products, processes and documentation; with subject matter expertise in relevant topics
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet resources
  • Excellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-up
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising quality
  • Bachelor's Degree
