Muttdata is a remote-first startup hiring a Data Scientist Semi Senior to measure what drives growth for a beverage-industry client. You will design experiments, estimate causal impact, and translate results into practical decisions across acquisition, retention, and revenue.

The role sits at the intersection of statistics, economics, and marketing, requiring clear communication to non-technical stakeholders. A quantitative Economics background is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Data Science, statistics, econometrics, or similar.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and experiments.
• Strong knowledge of causal inference methods and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments.
• Apply causal inference techniques to estimate impact of campaigns and pricing.
• Measure marketing performance: incrementality, attribution, ROI/ROAS, CLV, MMM.
• Translate business questions into analytical problems and experimental designs.
• Develop analyses and models on Databricks; collaborate with data engineers.
