Mutt Data, a remote-first data science startup, seeks a Data Scientist Semi Senior to drive growth analytics for a leading beverage client in Mexico. You will design experiments, estimate causal impact, and translate results into actionable decisions that boost customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.

The role sits at the intersection of statistics, economics, and marketing, partnering with cross-functional teams and data engineers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Data Science or related analytics roles.
• Hands-on with Databricks and Spark.
• Strong knowledge of causal inference methods and their applications.

Responsabilités

• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments.
• Apply causal inference techniques to estimate marketing impact when randomization isn't possible.
• Measure marketing performance: incrementality, attribution, ROI/ROAS, CLV, MMM.
• Translate business questions into analytical problems and designs.
• Develop analyses and models on Databricks with data engineers.
• Build predictive and segmentation models for targeting and personalization.
