IBM Consulting is seeking a Security Consultant specialized in Intelligence & Operations to help Client IT address threats and vulnerabilities. You will articulate security strategies, leverage SIEM/EDR tools, and guide risk-based decisions in a remote, US-based role.

Responsibilities include threat analysis, strategy development, and proactive defense. You will work with AI/ML tools and threat intelligence to strengthen clients' security posture and business resilience.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of security intelligence and operations, capable of shaping effective strategies and mitigation plans.
• Hands-on experience with security tools including AI/ML, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR to analyze threats.
• Counter-threat intelligence expertise to guide defense programs and priorities.
• Security strategy development to elevate client security posture and governance.
• Cyber threat analysis to identify risks and craft actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend security strategies, programs, and mitigation measures leveraging intelligence and operations.
• Enhance Client IT security posture through proactive threat hunting and intel-driven defense.
• Articulate IBM's SIOC, SIEM, and EDR perspectives, including financial implications.
• Analyze cyber threats and craft effective mitigation measures with hands-on tooling.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on security intelligence and operations.
