IBM Consulting is seeking a Security Consultant specializing in Intelligence & Operations to help Client IT understand and address security issues, exposures, and vulnerabilities. You will develop and articulate security strategies, posture improvements, and mitigation plans across Fortune 500 clients.

Leverage QRadar, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR capabilities to analyze threats and guide clients with intelligence-driven defense. This role can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in security intelligence and operations.
• Hands-on with security tools: SIEM, SOAR, EDR and AI/ML for threat analysis.
• Ability to articulate security strategies and mitigation measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and recommend security strategies, programs, and mitigation measures.
• Enhance security posture through threat hunting and intelligence-driven defense.
• Articulate IBM's SIOC, SIEM, and EDR perspectives, including financial implications.
• Analyze cyber threats and develop effective mitigation measures with hands-on tool use (QRadar).
• Provide expert guidance to clients on security intelligence and operations.
