Job summary

Jamf is seeking a Security Engineer I to administer security platforms and build automation to improve security operations. The role covers SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, IAM, endpoint security, and DLP, with focus on automation and scalable configs.

This position is remote within Minneapolis, MN and Eau Claire, WI metro areas; occasional in-office work may be required for events. Applicants must be based in one of these locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security, IT operations, or related technical role with demonstrated experience in security tool administration or automation projects.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms, identity management, endpoint security, DLP, SIEM, vulnerability management and SOAR platforms.
• Basic proficiency in Python scripting.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Experience with GitHub and Terraform for CI/CD is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain security platforms (SIEM, SOAR, CSPM, IAM, endpoint security, DLP).
• Design, develop, and maintain security automation workflows using SOAR and Python.
• Develop security infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Support Detection and Response teams and incident reporting.
• Collaborate to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and document configurations.
