Job summary

Second Sight Solutions, a subsidiary of Berkeley Research Group (BRG), is seeking a Security Engineer (Compliance) to join our Security team. You will own and implement key GRC programs, drive policies, and support annual audits in a primarily remote role with on-site onboarding as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in security engineering focused on compliance, deep knowledge of frameworks, and hands-on experience with SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF, along with cloud services such as

Qualifications

• 5+ years in system or information security engineering, compliance, or risk engineering.
• Deep knowledge of security frameworks and their application.
• Experience with SOC 1/2, ISO 27001, CSA STAR, NIST CSF.
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
• Familiarity with web technologies and network protocols.
• Experience with cloud services (M365, Azure, AWS).

Responsibilities

• Own and support application of key compliance frameworks.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guides for audits.
• Support internal audit program and quarterly access reviews.
• Collaborate with SecOps to meet audit standards.
• Ensure controls are operable and meet SOC audits.
