Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Security Architect for mergers and acquisitions to join our Information Security & Risk Management team. You will serve as the primary liaison between security and other technical/business units across acquisition and research ventures.

The role focuses on designing and delivering security services, playbooks, and advisory support to ensure secure transactions and aligned risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years in security architecture, or Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 2+ years.
• Hands-on design/implementation for security across cloud, app, network, identity, and OT.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or multi-company collaborations.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure and collaboration tools (M365, Slack).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate core security services during acquisitions or divestitures.
• Develop secure design patterns for collaborations with strategic partners.
• Create security playbooks and services for business alliances and acquisitions.
