Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Security Architect with mergers and acquisitions experience to join the Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) Security Architecture team. The role acts as the single point of contact coordinating security services across acquisitions and research ventures, working with internal research teams, business intelligence, and IT security.

This position can be virtual/remote anywhere in the U.S., with a dotted line to threat intelligence, and requires deep knowledge of cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of security architecture experience.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or multi-company collaborations.
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure and collaboration platforms (M365, Slack).
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and security constructs.
• Familiarity with NIST 800, ISO 27001 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate core security and tech services during acquisitions or divestitures.
• Develop secure design patterns for collaborations with strategic partners.
• Create security playbooks and services for business alliances and acquisitions.
