Job summary

Nationwide IT Services is seeking a Software Developer to ensure secure, modernized enterprise software across Windows and Linux. The role focuses on building, testing, and maintaining ColdFusion 2023/2025 and .NET Framework 4.8 applications while applying strict security controls throughout the lifecycle.

The position requires DoD 8140.01-M baseline certification, Microsoft Azure Admin certification, and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressive software-engineering experience with ColdFusion 2023/2025 and .NET Framework 4.8 across Linux and Windows.
• Experience in cybersecurity remediation, vulnerability mitigation, and secure code auditing.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and GitHub for code development and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, support, and optimize enterprise applications using ColdFusion and .NET.
• Develop new features and software solutions aligned with documented requirements.
• Provide ongoing maintenance including upgrades, performance optimization, and new features.
• Resolve defects and architecture issues across Windows and Linux environments.
• Conduct cybersecurity remediation and secure code reviews for applications.
• Develop and secure APIs connecting diverse enterprise systems.
• Prepare architecture documentation, release notes, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with customers, admins, cybersecurity personnel, and developers.
