Job summary

GuidePoint Security is seeking an experienced Security Operations and Data Architect to support presales, solution architecture, engagement scoping, and technical delivery across SecOps and Data Analytics services. You will lead through influence, develop target architectures, and deliver practical, measurable outcomes for clients.

You will mentor engineers, partner with sales, and shape service offerings while advancing security telemetry, automation, and AI-enabled approaches across diverse

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in security operations, security architecture, SIEM engineering, data engineering, observability, or related fields.
• Experience designing or leading SIEM, SOAR, security telemetry, data pipelines, observability, or security analytics engagements.
• Experience conducting client discovery, developing solution architectures, scoping engagements, and estimating engineering effort.
• Strong understanding of SOC operating models, SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering, automation, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery translating client objectives into current and target architectures.
• Provide presales support with architecture diagrams, proposals, and client responses.
• Define engagement scope, assumptions, dependencies, responsibilities, and deliverables.
• Provide architectural leadership across SecOps Engineering and Data Analytics engagements.
• Evaluate SIEM, SOAR, data pipelines, observability, automation, and AI against client use cases.
