Job summary

Tutored by Teachers is recruiting for virtual secondary math tutors to work with K-12 students across the United States. Roles are part-time, remote, and flexible in hours. Teachers with classroom math experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation typically starts at $32 per hour with a 10% bonus, and engagements may vary. Some opportunities offer $28-$36 per hour depending on lesson load and provided materials. This is not a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a US teacher.
• Experience teaching Math in the classroom.
• Experience teaching in an online environment.
• Working knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual small-group instruction to K-12 students across the country.
• Teach secondary math and remedial topics as needed.
• Attend to session notes, prep, and early login as part of the engagement.
• Engage with school partners through online platforms to deliver lessons.
