Job summary

An online tutoring organization is seeking a Secondary Math Teacher Tutor for part-time tutoring roles supporting K-12 students across the United States. This position offers a flexible schedule with standard compensation of $36/hour plus bonuses. Ideal candidates should have experience in teaching math and online environments, with specific availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8AM-10AM ET.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching Math in the classroom.
• Experience teaching in an online environment.
• Knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom is beneficial.
• Ability to teach Integrated Math 1 or ACT prep for 11th graders.
• Availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8AM-10AM ET.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group virtual instruction to K-12 students.
• Engage with tutoring opportunities across various programs.
• Commit to engagements lasting 14 to 30 weeks with a few hours per week.

Skills

Experience teaching Math

Experience teaching in an online environment

Working knowledge of Google Classroom

Ability to teach lower-level HS math

Experience with remediation
