Job summary

Intuit seeks a Tax Expert to help customers complete their taxes using TurboTax Live Business products. You will manage complex business tax returns (Partnerships/S Corporations) and advise on federal/state tax laws, with emphasis on quality client interactions.

The role is virtual, customer-facing, and requires strong communication, reliability, and ability to work during peak filing periods. Training and confidentiality standards apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of federal/state business tax returns for 20+ clients per season using tax software.
• 2+ years of federal/state individual 1040 returns for compensation.
• Bookkeeping to tax prep experience preferred.
• Experience with Schedule C returns (sole proprietorships) required.
• Experience with business tax returns for service industry customers required.
• Active PTIN required.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficient with technology and computer operations.
• Strong customer service via video/audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, research skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to peak filing periods (Mar 15 and Apr 15).
• Dedicated hardwired internet and quiet workspace.
• Must reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• This is a virtual, customer-facing role; you will use video software to interact with customers.
• Provide tax advice and full-service business return preparation and signature.
• Answer product/software inquiries and explain tax calculations.
• Document customer interactions and troubleshoot tax issues.
• Meet key performance metrics and participate in pilots as needed.
• Complete required training and development as determined by the business.
