Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test to elevate automation across distributed systems. Design and build automation frameworks, write production-grade test code, and partner with development teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.

The role requires strong programming skills and experience with UI automation frameworks, REST/gRPC APIs, and CI/CD; you'll mentor junior engineers and help raise the bar on testing strategies in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as an SDET or in test-focused software engineering roles.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major UI automation framework (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Solid experience automating REST and/or gRPC APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and modern web architectures.
• Excellent debugging, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve automation frameworks.
• Write production-quality test code and embed quality engineering in the SDLC.
• Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into automated tests.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code/design reviews.
• Contribute to testing strategy including unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security testing.
