Sellers & Associates seeks an innovative Scrum Master to lead Agile ceremonies and drive process improvements for a government-focused software team. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on technical oversight in a primarily remote setting, with required in-person NAVSEA briefings in Washington, D.C.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in Agile project management, Scrum processes, and Jira, plus experience in DoD IT environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Agile project management and performing Scrum Master duties.
• 2+ years of experience with JIRA or similar tools.
• Experience supporting multiple teams and adjusting to shifting priorities.
• Knowledge of SAFe, Kanban, or Lean-Agile processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies (planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement).
• Gather and analyze requirements; translate user needs into actionable goals and system requirements.
• Plan roadmaps, release schedules, and dependencies across efforts.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and PMs to deliver software solutions.
• Create and maintain Jira epics, user stories, bugs, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
• Write and maintain technical documentation and deployment instructions.
• Resolve blockers by engaging stakeholders and maintaining transparency.
