Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed school social worker to provide tele-social work services from home in Illinois and beyond, under a 1099 contractor arrangement. The role emphasizes direct virtual counseling aligned with IEP/504 goals, crisis intervention, and collaboration with school staff.

The ideal candidate holds an MSW from a CSWE-accredited program, an ISBE PEL with School Social Worker endorsement, and an LSW/LCSW credential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement issued by ISBE.
• Active Illinois LSW or LCSW credential issued by IDFPR preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience (school-based and/or tele-social work preferred).
• Experience conducting social developmental studies, facilitating IEP goals, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct virtual individual and small-group social-emotional counseling aligned with IEP and 504 goals.
• Conduct social developmental studies, adaptive behavior assessments, and FBAs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and families.
• Provide consultation and behavioral strategies for classroom management and SEL integration.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings, MTSS, and manifestation determinations.
• Maintain confidential documentation of clinical notes, service logs, and IEP progress.
• Ensure compliance with ISBE regulations, district policies, and IDEA/FERPA guidelines.
• Utilize secure telepractice platforms and digital counseling tools.
• Support families with platform navigation and session coordination.
• Connect students with community resources and crisis support networks.
