Job Description :

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for a full-time, remote position to provide psychological services to K-12 students across North Carolina. As a 1099 independent contractor , you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact on students academic and emotional development. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school psychologist who values autonomy and work-life balance, while contributing to the well-being of students in a virtual setting.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with school staff and families to create strategies that support student success. At VocoVision, we are committed to providing high-quality remote services, and we are looking for a passionate professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct psycho-educational assessments for students referred for special education services.
  • Provide individual and group counseling for students dealing with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement strategies for student success.
  • Contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure that they are effectively implemented.
  • Interpret and communicate assessment results to parents, teachers, and school teams.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral issues.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate with school teams to provide support to students in need.

Qualifications :

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Valid North Carolinastate certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of psycho-educational assessments, data interpretation, and intervention strategies.
  • Experience with remote / telehealth service delivery is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a full-time workload as a 1099 contractor.

Pay & Benefits :
