Job Description :

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist for a full-time, remote position to provide psychological services to K-12 students across North Carolina. As a 1099 independent contractor , you will enjoy the flexibility of working from home while making a meaningful impact on students academic and emotional development. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, providing counseling, and collaborating with school staff and families to create strategies that support student success. Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments for students referred for special education services.
• Provide individual and group counseling for students dealing with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement strategies for student success.
• Contribute to the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure that they are effectively implemented.
• Interpret and communicate assessment results to parents, teachers, and school teams.
• Develop and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with behavioral issues.
• Participate in virtual meetings and collaborate with school teams to provide support to students in need.

Qualifications :

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Valid North Carolinastate certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of psycho-educational assessments, data interpretation, and intervention strategies.
• Experience with remote / telehealth service delivery is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff in a virtual environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage a full-time workload as a 1099 contractor.
