Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a Virtual School-Based SLP for maternity leave coverage. This temporary, part-time role delivers speech-language therapy to students, conducts assessments, and collaborates with teachers and families to support IEP goals.

Remote-Michigan with Michigan licensure required, including SLP license and Educator License. The position offers hourly pay of $50-$60 and benefits through the agency, with opportunities to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team and supervise

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain via endorsement.
• Michigan Educator License/endorsement for school-based speech-language services.
• Criminal and DCS background checks completed.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High-speed internet and a quiet workspace to conduct job functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formalized and dynamic assessments to determine eligibility and level of functioning.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans with interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide direct speech therapy services aligned with IEP goals.
• Complete and maintain compliant IEPs; participate in annual and triennial reviews.
• Consult with teachers and families to support generalization of communication skills.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, and progress documentation.
• Supervise and support SLPAs, including monitoring supervision hours (if applicable).
