Job summary

EDV Werke AG is seeking an experienced SCCM Engineer for a remote role within the EU. Key duties include designing SCCM task sequences, managing Windows images, and integrating drivers, apps, and PowerShell scripts into automated deployments.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure compliant, scalable OS deployment across devices.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on SCCM/MECM experience focused on OS deployment.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for deployment automation.
• Experience creating and managing Windows WIM images.
• Knowledge of Windows ADK, WinPE, BIOS/UEFI configuration, and driver injection.
• Understanding of hardware compatibility impacts on OS deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for deployment issues.
• Ability to maintain deployment documentation and follow standards.
• Experience collaborating with IT infrastructure, security, and external support teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and optimize SCCM task sequences for Windows 10/11 deployments.
• Create, customize, update, and test standard Windows WIM images.
• Integrate drivers, applications, and PowerShell scripts into automated deployment workflows.
• Automate OS installation, driver management, and BIOS/UEFI configuration.
• Resolve deployment failures, imaging issues, and hardware compatibility problems.
• Provide advanced deployment support in collaboration with Service Desk and field teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
• Support OS migrations and hardware/software lifecycle activities.
