Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years building production systems using Scala.
• Expert-level proficiency in Scala 2.13+ and/or Scala 3.
• Strong JVM fundamentals and performance tuning.
• Experience with concurrency and effect systems (cats-effect, ZIO) and/or Akka/Pekko.
• Distributed services design & operation (microservices, messaging, backpressure).
• Strong testing practices (ScalaTest, MUnit, ScalaCheck) and CI/CD familiarity.
• Build tooling and version control (SBT, Maven/Gradle, Git).
• Proficient English writing and communication (C1).
• Experience with AI data training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: create prompts and reference answers for Scala/JVM topics.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve correctness, safety, and performance.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, unsafe patterns, and bias; validate real-world reliability.
