Job summary

esVolta, LP seeks a SCADA Systems & Integration Engineer to support design, integration and operations for grid-connected BESS projects from late-stage development through long-term operations.

The role reports to the SCADA Systems and Integration Manager and collaborates across engineering, IT and OT teams to ensure reliable SCADA, instrumentation, and substation integration with an emphasis on cybersecurity and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SCADA, instrumentation and control systems engineering.
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage EMS and grid-level SCADA configuration preferred.
• Familiarity with substation design and protection coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across construction, commissioning and operations of BESS facilities.
• Lead I&C commissioning, ensuring proper integration, validation and performance before operation.
• Oversee SCADA operations, monitoring, troubleshooting and coordination with OT/IT teams.
