Job summary

American-Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer to drive SBA lending initiatives regionally. You will develop plans to generate new loan applications, solicit referrals, and manage the end-to-end loan process from application to closing.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with inside and outside partners, strong credit analysis, and effective communication with senior management. This is a remote position serving the Gulf South area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years SBA/USDA lending or commercial lending experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business with Finance focus or related field.
• Annual production above $18 million.
• Knowledge of SBA/USDA loans and lending practices.
• Proficient in financial statement/cash flow analysis.

Responsibilities

• Direct calling on referrals to develop new loan business.
• Meet/exceed production goals for new loans.
• Collect information from loan applicants for underwriting.
• Present credit requests to executive management.
• Maintain referral networks with CRE brokers, loan brokers, CPAs.
