Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company, is seeking online SAT Writing and Language tutors to join their platform. As a tutor, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and impact students' test readiness from the comfort of your home.

Tutors will provide personalized instruction and accept on-demand requests. The position requires advanced knowledge of the SAT Writing section and adaptive teaching methods to cater to individual student needs, with a minimum SAT Reading and Writing score of 700.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of SAT Writing and Language section, including grammar and punctuation.
• Skilled at teaching passage-based editing strategies and identifying grammatical errors.
• Familiar with SAT Writing and Language question types and common challenges.
• Ability to explain concepts in multiple approaches and to adapt to individual learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1-on-1 online tutoring for SAT Writing and Language.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests whenever available.
