Army National Guard Units seeks a Title 5 SAPR Victim Advocate (VA) to serve at MI J9, within the MI JFHQ Army National Guard. The VA provides trauma-informed advocacy, assists with reporting options, and coordinates referrals to medical, legal, and law enforcement resources.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, risk screening, and professional ethics. Training, support, and reporting to the SARC are integral parts of duties in a busy installation environment.

Formación

• Degree in behavioral or social science with at least 24 semester hours in the behavioral or social sciences.
• Or combination of education and experience equivalent to a major in the behavioral or social sciences with at least 24 semester hours in the behavioral or social sciences.
• Provide transcripts or documentation to support educational claims.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SAPR Victim Advocate (VA) for installation and tenant commands.
• Provide victim advocacy, referrals, and non-clinical trauma-informed support.
• Accept Restricted and Unrestricted reports and coordinate resources with DoD partners.
• Prepare the Victim Advocate Recommendations to the Commander within 24 hours of Unrestricted Reports.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver SAPR training and manage caseloads.
