Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior SAP S/4HANA CO Design Lead to architect the finance and controlling design for a process manufacturing client. This is a design role, not an implementation role; you will define the cost model and write configuration-level specifications for a separate implementation partner, aligned with an existing ECC environment.

The position offers a 100% remote consulting arrangement with occasional travel to client sites, supporting a large manufacturing client and a systems

Qualifications

• Proven S/4HANA CO design lead experience in process manufacturing.
• Deep expertise in product costing and Material Ledger with emphasis on actual costing.
• Experience designing Margin Analysis and percent-of-completion revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of S/4HANA FI/CO architecture, including cost object structure, overhead pools and allocation design.
• Design product costing and Material Ledger for process manufacturing, including process orders, batch costing, actual costing, and idle capacity treatment.
• Design Margin Analysis and percent-of-completion revenue recognition for project-based work.
• Build finance structures around inherited ECC configuration and explain trade-offs to finance and IT leadership.
• Write detailed configuration-level specifications for handoff to a separate implementation team.
