Job summary

Local World is seeking a Solution Engineer (Pre-Sales) focused on SAP S/4 transformations. This remote role with US travel partners with clients and internal teams to shape solutions before implementation begins.

You will engage across the full sales cycle, translate business requirements into SAP solutions, and lead client workshops to define transformation strategies and deal structure.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years experience in a consultant role with a Systems Integrator.
• 2-5+ years experience in solution engineering / pre-sales.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience with data migration, data conversion, or transformation projects.
• Client-facing experience, including workshops or stakeholder engagement.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel at least on at least 2 out of 4 weeks per month.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role across the full sales cycle, collaborating with sales, delivery, and partner teams.
• Define SAP S/4 transformation strategies with clients.
• Translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Lead client workshops and discovery sessions.
• Design solutions across SAP and data migration scenarios.
• Support RFP and RFI responses under tight timelines.
• Contribute to pricing, estimation, and deal structuring.
• Deliver product demonstrations and articulate solution value.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, and delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders.
