Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an SAP Functional Consultant – Finance & Logistics (FI/CO/FM/SD) to support a DoD-focused SAP S/4HANA modernization effort. The role is fully remote and offers exposure to large-scale financial and logistics transformations.

You will configure FI/CO/FM/SD in SAP S/4HANA, translate business requirements into functional designs, support GL, AP, AR, asset accounting, budgeting, testing, and deployments in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP functional experience covering FI, CO, FM, SD or related modules.
• Experience implementing or supporting SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong understanding of financial management and logistics business processes.
• Experience creating functional specifications and supporting SAP custom developments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Logistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP FI, CO, FM, and SD functionality within SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional designs and system solutions.
• Support financial processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, and Cost Center Accounting.
• Develop functional specifications and documentation for custom SAP enhancements and integrations.
• Perform testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams, stakeholders, and business process owners.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support system releases and deployments.
