Job summary

Genesis Consulting Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced Integration Consultant to design, develop, and support integrations between SAP Concur and enterprise systems as part of the GO.gov travel modernization initiative.

The role focuses on integrating travel, expense, financial, HR, identity management, and third-party applications using middleware and API technologies in a Federal Government environment. Remote-friendly in Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise integration experience.
• 3+ years implementing or supporting SAP Concur or enterprise SaaS integrations.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using middleware platforms.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and web service integrations.
• Experience with XML, JSON, XSLT, and data transformation technologies.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols including OAuth, SAML, JWT, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrations between SAP Concur and enterprise applications.
• Develop and support interfaces between SAP Concur and ERP, HR, financial, payroll, identity management, and third-party systems.
• Build and maintain REST, SOAP, and API-based integrations using middleware platforms.
• Configure and support SAP Concur APIs, web services, event-driven integrations, and data exchange processes.
• Develop integration mappings, transformation logic, routing rules, and error-handling procedures.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, functional consultants, and client stakeholders to define integration requirements.
• Perform integration testing, system testing, regression testing, and production validation.
• Troubleshoot interface failures, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop technical specifications, interface documentation, data mapping documents, and operational procedures.
• Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and production support.
• Ensure integrations comply with federal security, privacy, and data governance requirements.
• Support Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams to support end-to-end integration solutions.
