Job summary

Third Wave Business Systems, a leading SAP Gold Partner, is seeking a Solution Engineer – SAP Business One to drive net new and existing customer growth from a remote North America base. You will design SAP B1-based solutions, deliver compelling demonstrations, and guide prospects through evaluation, negotiation, and close, blending technology with sales acumen.

The role requires deep SAP B1 expertise, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting with travel

Qualifications

5+ years with SAP Business One and add-on software.
Proven success in pre-sales, solution engineering or consulting.
Deep ERP knowledge in manufacturing, wholesale, omni-channel retail.
Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership of deals and customer success.
Able to work independently in a remote environment; travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

Lead qualification, discovery, and needs analysis for prospects and existing customers.
Translate business challenges into tailored SAP B1 solutions showing measurable value.
Design and deliver product demos aligned with business outcomes.
Develop proposals, SOWs, and pricing models with sales and delivery teams.
Answer questions and overcome objections with prospects.
Support contract negotiation and smooth handoff to delivery post-sale.
Maintain understanding of Third Wave's extensions and custom integrations.
Stay current with SAP B1 updates and partner technologies.
Collaborate with internal teams to refine GTM messaging and offerings.
Aim to achieve and exceed sales and solution engagement metrics.
