Job summary

SIMARN Solutions is seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Business Systems Analyst to lead end-to-end usage/consumption billing projects, focusing on SAP BRIM, CM, and CI within a remote U.S. delivery model.

You will design, validate, and test integrations between CPQ/CRM and SAP BRIM, ensuring accurate billable item creation, reconciliation, and robust data validation across CM, CI, and related adapters.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP BRIM functional experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Convergent Mediation and Convergent Invoicing.
• Good understanding of usage/consumption billing.
• Experience with CPQ/Sales CRM-to-BRIM integration.
• Experience with AEM and/or SAP BTP integration testing.
• Understanding of contracts, commitments, overages, dispositions, and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate end-to-end usage data flows from Sales CRM/CPQ into SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation.
• Ensure accurate billable‑item creation and commitment‑vs‑actual reconciliation.
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot Convergent Mediation and its integration with Convergent Invoicing.
• Manage billable‑item disposition workflows, invoice creation/modification, goodwill adjustments, and composite BIT splitting.
• Validate event schemas and payload structures between Sales CRM/CPQ and SAP BRIM.
• Test bidirectional event flows, including disposition requests, BIT alerts, and invoice‑created events.
• Perform end-to-end integration testing covering event delivery, timing, retry logic, and failure scenarios.
• Test threshold‑based event triggers and billing alerts.
• Validate data transformation and mapping through AEM and/or SAP BTP adapters.
• Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation.
• Identify and document integration gaps, data discrepancies, and timing issues.
• Work closely with business, functional, integration, and technical teams throughout the CPQ-to-Billing lifecycle.
