Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP System Administrator to design, install, and operate SAP landscapes across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will manage HANA databases, system copies, upgrades, and migrations to cloud platforms, collaborating with security and functional teams to ensure high availability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of SAP Basis / platform engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience administering SAP HANA databases in production.
• Experience operating S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and other NetWeaver systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAP migrations to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong experience with SAP upgrades, EHP/SP application, and system conversions.
• Solid experience with SAP HA/DR strategies, including HANA System Replication and clustering.
• Working knowledge of SAP transport management and Solution Manager ChaRM.
• Scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, install, configure, and operate SAP landscapes including S/4HANA and NetWeaver systems across on-prem and cloud.
• Administer SAP HANA databases including sizing, replication, backup, and performance tuning.
• Plan and execute SAP system copies, refreshes, and post-copy automation activities.
• Lead SAP upgrades, EHP installations, and S/4HANA conversions with minimal disruption.
• Design and implement SAP migrations to AWS, Azure, and GCP, including network integration.
• Configure high-availability and disaster-recovery solutions for SAP environments.
• Manage SAP transport management strategies and ChaRM workflows.
• Oversee SAP user provisioning, roles, and security audits with SAP GRC.
• Monitor SAP performance using Solution Manager, Focused Run, and native tools.
• Develop automation scripts to reduce operational toil and speed tasks.
• Apply SAP security notes, patches, and database updates per policy.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support and incident reviews.
• Document architecture and standard operating processes for knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior Basis engineers and contribute to platform roadmap.
