Job summary

North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking an SAP Basis Administrator to join a growing team supporting a hybrid cloud SAP HANA based enterprise solution to NC DOT and other State Agencies.

This role will contribute to the evolution of the SAP HANA platform and deliver best-in-class financial management capabilities for NC DOT, requiring extensive SAP Basis expertise in large-scale environments and multi-cloud connectivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required; substitution with three years of progressive experience accepted
At least 4 years of information technology experience
U.S. citizens or those authorized to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available
10+ years SAP Basis experience including HANA 2.0, SDI/SDA, SLT, PI/PO, Netweaver ICM, Gateway Services, Odata, iDocs, RFCs
Experience connecting SAP to external data sources including REST, SOAP, SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and Sybase
In-depth debugging/troubleshooting skills for native SAP HANA
Familiarity with SDLC/Agile/Scrum; leadership of small teams
Willing to work with globally distributed teams across time zones

Responsibilities

Support a hybrid cloud SAP HANA-based enterprise solution for NC DOT and state agencies
Evolve the SAP HANA platform to meet growing financial management needs
Bring extensive SAP HANA experience to a large-scale environment
Collaborate with distributed teams and adapt to time-zone differences
Potential travel as required by job requirements
