Job summary

KBR is seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer to help implement and optimize a new Salesforce environment for Growth Operations Excellence. You will translate business requirements into practical Salesforce configurations and light development with a focus on scalable, reliable processes.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Flow, Apex, and LWCs, and can collaborate with IT and business stakeholders. Remote-friendly, with minimal travel and eligibility for US security clearance.

Qualifications

• US security clearance eligibility.
• BS in CS/IS/Engineering/Data Analytics or related field, or equivalent relevant technical experience.
• 2+ years supporting Salesforce administration/development.
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration: objects, fields, layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, permissions, and user administration.
• Experience with Flow and approval processes.
• Foundational knowledge of Apex, LWCs, JavaScript, HTML, SOQL.
• Understanding of Salesforce data model, security, roles, sharing, permissions.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, configuration, testing, deployment, administration, and improvement of a new Salesforce environment.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, Lightning pages, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, permission sets, and user access controls.
• Build and maintain Salesforce automation using declarative tools such as Flow, with support for Apex, LWC, and other programmatic solutions as needed.
• Assist with Salesforce data migration, data cleanup, deduplication, validation, and ongoing data quality efforts.
• Support Salesforce reporting and dashboard development to improve visibility into customer, lead, opportunity, pipeline, forecasting, resource planning, and growth execution data.
• Troubleshoot Salesforce user issues, investigate defects, document root causes, and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
• Support integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, including API-based integrations and middleware.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration notes, user guidance, test scripts, deployment notes, and SOPs.
• Assist with sandbox management, change tracking, deployment preparation, release validation, and production support activities.
• Follow Salesforce development, security, testing, data governance, and release management best practices.
• Help ensure Salesforce remains scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with evolving business needs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Salesforce workflows, governance standards, data standards, and user experience.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while seeking guidance from senior team members.
