Job summary

Lightspeed is seeking a Salesforce Developer to design, build, and maintain custom solutions within our Salesforce org. You will partner across Revenue Operations, Customer Success, Finance, and Product to translate business requirements into scalable technical implementations, spanning Apex development, Flow automation, and REST/SOAP integrations.

You will own health, performance, and governance of the Salesforce environment, participate in Agile cycles, and ensure robust testing and deployment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration in a fast-paced SaaS or tech company.
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ or Revenue Cloud for subscription, quoting, and contract lifecycle management.
• Active Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer I.
• Proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Experience with Salesforce DX and source-driven development workflows (Git, scratch orgs, unlocked packages).
• Ability to design and build REST/SOAP API integrations between Salesforce and third-party platforms.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security model: profiles, permission sets, field-level security, sharing rules, OWD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Apex classes, triggers, LWC, and Aura components.
• Build and maintain scalable automation using Flow Builder, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, code reviews, and release management.
• Maintain deployment pipelines using Salesforce DX, GitHub, and CI/CD frameworks like Copado or Gearset.
• Maintain a comprehensive test suite with high Apex code coverage and manage sandbox strategy.
• Oversee daily Salesforce org operation including user setup, profiles, permissions, role hierarchy, and field-level security.
• Maintain and enhance page layouts, custom objects, validation rules, and sharing settings.
• Conduct performance audits, security reviews, and data quality checks; enforce governance and deduplication.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases and implement relevant updates with regression testing.
