Job summary

Jobot seeks a Sales Engineer in Philadelphia, PA for a manufacturing machinery leader. This remote-friendly, full-time role includes up to 50% travel to customer sites and a competitive $80k-$120k salary.

You will consult with clients to assess equipment needs, draft presentations, support the sales team, manage prospect relationships, and contribute to product improvements and R&D. A strong technical sales mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Consults with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements.
• Drafts or assists with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
• Provides expertise and support to the sales department to communicate products, services, and client needs.
• Develop and maintain personal relationships with prospects during the sales process across many different prospects simultaneously.
• Ensures that the customer’s needs are met, which may include product modifications.
• Proposes improved materials or products to customers and explains the benefits of changes.
• Provides support to customers and resolve problems with installed equipment.
• Prepares product orders and schedules deliveries.
• Assists with research and development of new products
