Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Corporate Safety Program Manager to design, implement, maintain and evaluate H&S programs across a broad geographic territory. This role spends significant time auditing sites and developing action plans to reduce health risks for employees.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of utility construction safety experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and CSP/CIH/CHMM certification preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of utility construction safety experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Management, Occupational Safety and Health, Industrial Hygiene, or another technical field equivalent.
• Board safety certification such as CSP, CIH or CHMM strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain and evaluate identified H&S programs.
• Audit regional sites across a large geographic territory and assist in action plan development to control health and safety risks.
• Provide governance and quality oversight of H&S programs.
• Conduct training and develop materials to support H&S initiatives.
• Lead data trending and reporting to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
