Job summary

MIRACORP is seeking a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist to lead and enhance national safety programs. The role provides expert guidance, policy interpretation, and program oversight across occupational safety, compliance, and risk management.

The ideal candidate will support inspections, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field, at least five years of experience, and professional OSH certifications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, or related field, or equivalent with 24 related credits.
• Minimum five years of experience in occupational safety and health.
• Professional certification (CSP/CIH/CHMM) preferred.
• Expert knowledge of OSH concepts, laws, and codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on occupational safety and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as SME across safety areas including construction, electrical, fall protection, PPE, and hazard analysis.
• Conduct inspections, investigations, and risk assessments with corrective action plans.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and recommend preventive measures.
• Review plans to ensure safety compliance and develop training programs.
