Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a remote contractor role (~15 hrs a week). You will help train next-generation AI systems by designing Reinforcement Learning Environments that test a model's ability to solve complex software problems using MCP tools.

Projects include fixing bugs, implementing features, refactoring code, and optimizing performance while agents learn from real MCP servers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in multiple languages including C++, Python, Java, Go, TypeScript or Rust.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures and performance tuning.
• Proven debugging skills and delivering maintainable solutions.
• Experience with feature development and codebase refactoring.
• Ability to optimize software for performance and scalability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, detail-oriented, collaborative.
• Track record of success in remote, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create Reinforcement Learning Environments to test AI models using MCP tools.
