Job summary

RCAC works remotely in California to provide technical, managerial, and financial (TMF) assistance to small water and wastewater systems, helping them operate sustainably and deliver quality services to communities.

You will collaborate with rural residents and local leaders, guiding construction projects from planning to completion and delivering trainings to build partner capacity. Strong project management and community development background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in water/wastewater project management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and recommend solutions.
• Build capacity at small utilities.
• Manage relationships with client communities and utilities.
• Help clients access financial resources for water/wastewater projects.
• Guide client communities through projects from planning to completion.
• Develop, prepare, and deliver trainings.
